post-academic training additive manufacturing
UGent and KULeuven-KULAK organize a post-academic training on additive manufacturing, starting in October 2016.
The training aims at participants who are involved in development, design and production process of polymer or metal components and has the following objectives:
- provide insight in current state of the art in Additive Manufacturing technologies applied for polymers and metals
- Develop understanding on the different Additive Manufacturing technologies, and where they can be applied in the design, development and production process
- Build up knowledge on the limitations of each Additive Manufacturing technique and the possibilities of the current technology to aim for the currently highest possible applicability.
