Belgian Francqui chair 2015 - 2016

Prof. Dr. Herman Terryn (VUB) is the laureate of the Belgian Francqui chair 2015-2016.

He is a professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at VUB with a chair in Surface Science and Engineering at the research group Electrochemical and Surface Engineering at the MACH department. Next to that, he also teaches at the Brussels Faculty of Engineering, at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, at University of Ghent and he is part-time professor at the research group Corrosion and Electrochemistry of TU Delft. He also leads the cluster on Durability of Materials of the Dutch M2i institute (Materials Innovations Institute).
