Calls for proposals

The SIM research is carried out in several programs and project types, that are chosen from open calls for proposals for:

  • SIBO programs (Strategic Industrial Basic Research), where strategic basic research (SBO) and industrial basic research projects (IBO) are combined and aligned. The SIBO Programs are the core of SIM (approximately 80% of the effort)
  • Infrastructure projects, providing the means for specific required investments for the SIBO programs
  • Exploratory studies and research projects
