SIM User Forum 2018 - 16 May 2018

Event date:
Wednesday 16 May - 1:15 pm to 10:00 pm
Flanders Expo, Ghent

The 6th SIM User Forum took place on 16 May 2018 at Flanders Expo - Ghent.

We'd like to say a big Thank You to all contributors and attendees for once again making it a constructive and lively event, and we hope everybody was able to establish new, valuable contacts.

This year, the SIM User Forum coincided with the Advanced Engineering fair, a new trade show concept-based on the creation and production of innovative products.

This made the SIM User Forum an ideal platform for companies contributing towards the production of inventive products, technologies and electronics.

We aimed for maximum interaction with and participation from the industry by foreseeing ample networking time in the afternoon and early evening.

SIM Poster Award

A scientific Poster Award was granted during the SIM User Forum. The winning poster reflects the SIM philosophy of ‘excellent scientific and collaborative innovation’ from both industrial and academic perspective. The award is a recognition for the team effort, since materials research is something you never accomplish on your own.
